Services Provided

We understand that coping with the loss of a loved one is never easy. Survivors of victims of homicide require extensive practical, financial, and psychological services, all of which we provide.

  • Funeral Services Referrals

  • Assistance with completion of forms for Crime Victim's Compensation, when applicable

  • Counseling for both adults and children

  • Grief Support Group - concrete, practical and compassionate steps towards the healing process.

  • Education about the Criminal Justice System and assurance that your rights under the Victim Bill of Rights are respected and you understand the court process

  • Navigation through the legal system, including Trial Preparation, In-Court Advocacy and Support, Victim Impact Statement Preparation, etc.

  • Nutritional counseling and support, to help combat negative dietary habits from trauma

  • Food supplied to the immediate family of the victim, upon notification

  • Healing Circles and Conflict Resolution
